I'd like to use the tree closure scheduled for 7/29 from 3PM to 7PM PT to move the hg volume on scl3-na1a to the SAS aggregate. It's currently on a SATA aggregate with a bunch of other stuff (including almost all the scl3 VMs). There are times when hg generates so much traffic that other work is slowed. It will work much better on the SAS aggr. The data is being pre-copied now, the actual "outage" will involve unmounting /vol/hg everywhere, while I run some commands, which will take less than 5 minutes, and then it can be re-mounted everywhere, using the same mount path and options. Let me know if it is possible to do this, so I can make sure I'm around on Sunday.
+1 from me. We should totally take advantage of this closure to make any little perf tweaks we can.

If you can add this to the existing list of items for Sunday's downtime without risking the schedule, or disrupting the work of others in IT in the downtime, then its fine by me.
