E.g.: http://hg.mozilla.org/build/talos/file/3f39b589317c/talos/cmanager_linux.py#l117 If we add or delete a counter that doesn't exist (i.e. isn't supported/known), we silently ignore it. Instead, we should do something. I would prefer to just err out at that point, with additional checks in the CLI that detect this ahead of time. Less rigorous than that, we could at least print a message (at least in noisy) wrt to the counter not being available.
