I've just been told that the correct level would be 1a??

What I need is access to the de-DE localization branch.

Email address / login is hpeters@redhat.com.

Thanks!
Hedda: Can you please fill out the Commit form and return it to Shannon? You will also need someone to vouch. Form info is here: http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/notification/

Kadir would be a good person to comment.
Hi Hedda, great to see that you are interested in the German Firefox localization. You can get started by creating patches, attaching them to bugs and asking Sebastian (:aryx) or me for review. You can see the whole team here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:de

Btw, we have a weekly meeting on IRC #deMeeting at 9pm Wednesdays, swing by if you want to meet the German community. Welcome to Mozilla :)

Thanks all, I've just emailed the Committer's Agreement to Shannon.
(tried to fax yesterday, but didn't work...)

Kadir, that meeting at 9pm - is that CET (UTC+1/+2)? I'm in Brisbane, Australia - it may or may not work well with the time difference.
Oh, yeah, the time zone difference is pretty bad in that case :/ Just to make sure, you are interested in contributing to the localization of Firefox into German, right?

That's right!
Great to hear that. And as to your question, yes, the meeting takes place at 9pm CET, that is currently UTC+2, IIRC.
Adding Shannon to confirm the Commit form.
Sorry for being vague before, but we don't give access to the repositories without prior contributions. The proper way is to submit patches that are reviewed by the locale leader and peers. Access to the repositories is then granted on a per need basis. Without seeing any contributions first I can't vouch for anyone.

Fair enough, Kadir, I hope I find the time to do up a couple of patches within the next few days. I'll update this bug as soon as I do.

Done -- for a start, please find 3 updated files here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=780760
Please re-open or file a new bug if this access is still desired.
