Hi Matej. Hoping you can help with copy for two landing pages. These will be stand alone landing pages for the time being. The bulk of traffic will come to them from a desktop snippet.

The primary change is rather than sending them to Google Play, we’re using SMS.

I'm planning on using the below as a base for the copy.
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#mobile

**************************
Landing Page 1:
**************************

Purpose: Input a phone number into a form and our SMS system will send a link to the users phone to download Firefox for Android

Send it to your phone right now.

Send yourself a text message with a link to download

**************************
Landing Page 2:
**************************

Purpose: Input a shore code into your Android phone our SMS system will send a link to the users phone to download Firefox for Android

Send it to your phone right now.

Text FXDROUD to 11111.

** Msg&Data rates may apply. Text STOP to 21534 to stop (conf. Msg will be sent).

Also available on Google Play.

**************************

Also, attached some rough rough rough concepts I worked on to help. Not a lot of copy needed here. Just strong CTAs.

Hey Winston, the copy looks good to me. I just made a few tiny tweaks, especially in the fine print stuff. Unless there's a reason to keep the abbreviations, I think it's better to spell things out and be clear. Let me know if you have any questions.

Landing Page 1:

Send it to your phone right now!

Get a text message with a link to download.

** Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to 21534 to stop (a confirmation message will be sent).

Hey Matej,

Couple of requests related to copy. Hoping you could help.

#1---
We need copy for the "sent" state of this page.

This page will be shown after a user sends themselves a text. The flow is as follows:
   1) User is directed to the landing page from the snippet on about:home
   2) The user enters their phone number, and press the send button
   3) The user is shown a new state that confirms the message was sent.

The copy would need to confirm: a) The download link had been sent, b) that it would be on the user's cell phone, c) The message would show up soon.

Something like, "Your download link has been sent to your phone. You should receive a message shortly."

#2--
We'll also need copy for the "fail" states of this page. That is, if a user puts in the wrong number, the text fails to send, etc...We'll need to tell the user that their text wasn't sent, and that they should reenter it. Winston may want to jump in on the possible variations of failures, but here's what comes to mind:
*The number wasn't a US number. We can only send numbers to US residents. Please enter a US number
*The number doesn't exist. Please check the number and re-enter it.
*The external service is having trouble sending messages. Please try again later.
*The number wasn't entered correctly. Please check the number and try again.

Any to add, Winston?
(In reply to Sam Mott from comment #3)

Hi Sam. No problem. I'll start with the ones you've indicated here and add as needed.

> Something like, "Your download link has been sent to your phone. You should
> receive a message shortly."

This looks good to me.

> *The number wasn't a US number. We can only send numbers to US residents.
> Please enter a US number

Sorry, we can only send to US residents at this time. Please enter a valid US number.

> *The number doesn't exist. Please check the number and re-enter it.

The number you entered doesn't seen to exist. Please check the number and enter it again.

> *The external service is having trouble sending messages. Please try again
> later.

The external service is currently having trouble sending messages. Please try again later.

> *The number wasn't entered correctly. Please check the number and try
> again.
