Thunderbird shows a cut off menu when used with a Luna theme styler, such as WindoxBlinds. WindowBlinds paints over the caption bar, but causing the menu to be partly covered up. This behavior is similar to behavior in Firefox when used the menu toolbar hidden, but it is worse as the menu in Firefox remains usable (if menu toolbar visible).

I think it is important that we do not change the top margin of the menu: leave enough room for the title bar.

With bug 771816 the draw in titlebar can be disabled. It looks like Windowblinds draws also in titlebar and overwrites TBs titlebar.

Would it be okay to dupe this bug to bug 771816?

don't know? I have followed up there with a screen shot as well.

I'll mark this bug as duplicate. If after landing of bug 771816 the issue is still here (after disabling draw in titlebar) the bug can be reopened. But I would say when FX can't solve this, also TB can't do it because we are only a user of this functionality.
