This problem is often associated with locales that aren't supported by BrowserID yet (although there's a workaround, I don't know if we have it in place yet).
i'm in virginia beach, east coast, 23445. if that helps.
Albert: Can you please do the following? 1. Start Chrome. 2. Open settings. 3. Type "language" into the preferences search box. 4. Click the "Languages and Spell-checker Settings..." button. After step 4, you should see a list of languages. What is in that list, in order?
Summary: using persona to login, upon completion, still says sign on on mdn page. even after refresh. no clue if i'm signed in or not. don't see my username/account. i'm on linux mint in chrome. → Unable to log in with Persona

Thanks for that. I thought it could have been related to bug 773501, but that looks not to be the case. This might have been fixed along with bug 778474. Can you try logging into our development server? https://developer-dev.allizom.org/en-US/
Albert: Some people have had success logging in while using a different Firefox profile. To help us debug this issue, could you please try that and report back. See these steps for creating and using a different Firefox profile. It's not as complicated as the length of the article might lead you to believe. http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
