User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/21.0.1180.57 Safari/537.1 Steps to reproduce: I noticed that files in the shell are not showing up in Thunderbird, so I'm not sure how/if I should simply delete them. Actual results: My hard drive starting filling up. See: http://pastebin.com/shv06yAr Expected results: I should be able to see the files and folders in Thunderbird, and delete them as I wish.
In Thunderbird account settings: /Users/vig/Library/Thunderbird/Private/.mozilla-thunderbird/dh64dngz.default/ImapMail/mail.example-1.com In /Users/vig/Library/Thunderbird: [Profile0] Name=default IsRelative=1 Path=Profiles/dh64dngz.default
This looks more like a support issue, for which you can find more help here: https://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/ as for Trash - only right-click on trash folder > compact will physically free the space - until then it's not empty even when it looks empty different profile folders - don't know how you got there clear up: - make backup copy of everything - analyse & remove what you think you don't need (you'll probably want to keep those folders you find in account settings) - double-check in TB if you miss anything
./Library/Caches/Thunderbird/Profiles/dh64dngz.default ./Library/Thunderbird/Private/.mozilla-thunderbird/dh64dngz.default ./Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/dh64dngz.default I did a "mv Profiles/dh* Profiles/TMPdh64/default" && "mv Private/.mozilla-thunderbird/dh64dngz.default Profiles/" and restarted Thunderbird, it started prompting me to create an email account to use with Thunderbird. I then did "mv Profiles/dh64dngz.default Private/.mozilla-thunderbird/" and restarted Thundbird to get "Profile can't be loaded" prompt: http://imgur.com/QXIf4 when I moved Profiles/TMPdh64 back to Profiles/dh64dngz.default, everything started working again.
