System Info: Win2000, Duron-800, 512MB RAM Mozilla Version: tested under 4 builds in the last couple of months inculding 20010428 and 20010417 Other Info: I searched bugzilla with different criteria for a similar bug, haven't found one (strange as this has occurred for me for the last couple of months. I have completely deleted the bin directory and reinstalled each time. My email address has long since changed, please send to firstname.lastname@example.org Steps to reproduce: 1. Open browser window 2. Find any page with form controls e.g. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi Result: 1. Radio Buttons are missing altogether 2. Drop-down fields are garbled. The initial value shows up as some brackets and text, but is longer than most of the boxes and thus I can't see i.e. [[[[[MENUITEM or something to that effect 3. occasional crashes just loading a page with form controls. i.e. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi 4. Form buttons act strange: clicking has no effect, a highlighted button will not depress with either spacebar or enter, right clicking on it will pull up a menu and mouseovers cause the button to depress and then return on mouseout Expected Result: No crashes, working form controls.
WFM with win2k build 20010429.. (CVS OPT and debug) (Win2k SP1, German, Athlon950, 512MB RAM) Reporter: can you try it again with a fresh profile ? run: "mozilla -profilemanager" and create a new profile. Please delete also "c:\winnt\mozregistry.dat"
WORKSFORME: 2001050317 - Win2K Waiting on Reporter's attempts before closing.
Sorry for taking so long. After deleting the mozregistry.dat files (I had two, one for Win2K and one for Win98), there was no change. Deleting and creating a new profile fixed the problem. So WORKSFORME too. BUT..I ask, if I had to completely delete my profile, is there something out there that could still cause a problem?
