Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-2 i686; en-US; rv:0.8.1+) Gecko/20010428 BuildID: 2001042814 When Mozilla first launches, any subsequent pages opened in the initial window do not get added to the browser history. Subsequently, there is no way to go "back". Opening a new browser window alleviates the problem for all subsequent windows except the initial one. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Mozilla 2. Surf to a website (used a frameless site to verify this is not a frames issue) 3. Surf to a link on the site. 4. Attempt to go back to the first page Actual Results: No history, no way "back". Expected Results: The first page should have been in the browser history, so you could return to it.
Ken, could you try an even more recent build? There were several checkins recently which were supposed to fixed back/forward buttons not working in some cases.
WFM with a CVS build from 2001-04-29-01 on Linux.
WFM with 2001042904 (0.9 Candidate build). Looks like this was fixed since Yesterday.
