Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:16.0) Gecko/16.0 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20120803042008 Steps to reproduce: Clicked on a link in the twitter-for-mac application, which tried to open the URL in a new tab in Firefox (Aurora 16). BTW, I'm on mac lion. Actual results: This: http://gyazo.com/daf2245be67f6e07fbeb53679e0f8d7f Expected results: This: http://gyazo.com/8c77b631217f32697b0c723f6d1d77af More specifically, you can see that the automatic IDN'ing of the domain name "señordeveloper.com" did not occur as expected, when the browser tab was opened by clicking a link in another app. If I copy-n-paste that domain name into the address bar, works fine. If I click that link from inside a browser tab (twitter.com client), works fine. If I click the link from the twitter-for-mac client, see the error, then simply focus the address bar and hit enter, works fine. But directly clicking the link in the app doesn't work. Minor annoyance, but I think a bug nonetheless.
