Please make 'manifests' directory under stage.mozilla.org:/mnt/netapp/stage/archive.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/b2g

This directory should be owned by user 'b2gbld'.

This will be used for storing nightly B2G build manifests.

Out of curiousity, what sort of information do these manifest hold ?

These are android build manifests; they contain a list of all the revisions of all the repos used to make a particular B2G build.  Others can use these manifests to reproduce the same builds.

Ok. Given there are rapidly changing repos like gaia and mozilla-central in there perhaps it makes sense to put these inside the same directory as the build products ? Or does that need to be pulled in at the start of the build to populate the source ? Apologies if you already had this conversation with people.

These manifests will be for nightly builds, they aren't made per commit to any specific repo.  The nightly builds they represent do not live here (hence it doesn't make sense to put them in the same build directory, as there is none such); they represent builds available privately from https://releases.mozilla.com/b2g/.

I've created the 'manifests' directory under stage.mozilla.org:/mnt/netapp/stage/archive.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/b2g, and set it to be owned by 'b2gbld'.
