firefox hangs when you select something in terms of text

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.162 Safari/535.19 Steps to reproduce: I clicked right mouse button for the submenu on are wrong typing word. Actual results: Firefox hangs for 5 a 6 seconds. But the operationsystem works perfect. Its only Firefox what was hanged. (OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, 64bit, dutch language, Kernel: 3.2.0-27-generic) Expected results: Show me the menu (submenu from right mouse button)
BTW it doen't matter if you use Gmail or not. On FB the same problem.
Could you test in safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_Safe_Mode), then with a new Firefox profile (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles) please.

Reporter, do you still have this problem? Please try what Loic said. The problem may be caused by an extension (or multiple extensions) that changes the context menu.
Could you also try on a site which doesn't use any plugins, Bugzilla for example? I'm not able to reproduce this bug with Firefox 14.0.1 on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit. I *think* we use Google's spellchecker API, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Thanks.
