After some brief testing of ACR 2.0rc2, it seems that when disabling or enabling an addon will refresh the current pane of the Add-ons Manager. This makes it so that uninstalling any restartless addon happens immediately - making it so that there's no undo step available (bug 612168 would solve this, but its a long way off). Additionally, the Add-ons Manager sorts addons based on their state - enabled at the top, disabled at the bottom (roughly - there's a few other states mixed in there). When you disable an addon, it's position in the list *isn't* updated immediately - this is intentional. However, ACR 2.0rc2 seems to be making it so that disabling/enabling an addon will make it jump position immediately - it shouldn't be doing that.

I can't reproduce this. For me, enabling/disabling a restartless or legacy add-on works as normal and doesn't change the sort order in the add-ons manager. This was a bug in a previous build, but the refresh code has been removed.
Blair, Please test again with version 2.0rc4 that I will share around imminently.
