Hi Pavel, To get commit access you'll additionally need a voucher to comment in the bug, and to submit the form to Erica per http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/notification/. It would also be useful if you could provide a short explanation of why you're looking to obtain commit access. "Level 1" and "mozilla-central commit" are two separate access levels.

Hi Gavin, I hope that Terrence Cole or Ryan VanderMeulen can provide a voucher. I will send the form in the nearest future. Thanks for explanation. I suppose that "mozilla-central commit" is what I am looking for. I need this for committing patches similar to bug 745251.

Hello Pavel: Looks as if you are seeking Level 3 access according to the bug referenced in Comment 2. L3 access requires two vouchers - module owners or peers of code stored at this level. http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/commit-access-policy/ details the entire policy. L1 is okay if you are looking to generate try builds. but not if you want to check code into mozilla central. The bar is higher for that access and usually we like to have new contributors reference the patches they have worked on in the bug (We see the one bug in Comment 2, are there others?)

Marcia, Thanks for explanation. I figured out that Level 3 is what I need for committing similar patches. There are not yet any other fixed bugs, I will continue to work on it. My access status is not an urgent matter, so I will let you know about any updates.

You could just start with level 1 access, so that you can at least use the try server and user repos.

Pavel - Gavin has a good point in Comment 6 - we can morph this bug into a Level 1 for now if you want, and the you can apply for a Level 3 at a later time.

Sure, I agree. Level 1 is sufficient by now. In addition, I submitted a form using fax.

Shannon: Can you please confirm Pavel's fax?

Pavel: Shannon indicated she did not receive the fax when I checked with her today. You can also send the form via email as well.
