Cannot remember password on bugzilla.mozilla.org on Firefox - Works fine on Chrome

Details
Steps:
1. Go to bugzilla.mozilla.org on FF 15 Beta
2. Login with a valid account and select remember
3. Load bugzilla.mozilla.org in a new tab
Expected:
I should be still logged into bugzilla.mozilla.org.
Actual:
I am no longer logged into bugzilla.mozilla.org. I have to re-login as a result. This is a really annoying regression - password remembering appears to be broken. My hunch is this is a problem in Firefox, as I do remember this working on Desktop Firefox in the past, and this works fine right now in Chrome.
Additional Notes:
Possible this is a dup (I'd imagine someone might have already filed this), but I've yet to find it.

I can't reproduce this on Mac, and also this seems like a bugzilla issue, not a Firefox issue so let's look into this but there's no need to track for release at this point unless it's clear there's a Firefox issue with more websites than just our bug tracker.

This works fine for me on Linux using FF14.0.1 and Nightly. Dumb question, I know but if you do not have cookies enabled for the BMO domain, you would get the type of behavior you describe and could explain why it may work in Chrome instead (different cookie settings). Bugzilla relies on cookies to retain login from one page load to another. Can you please verify that the cookie settings for BMO are on?

Strangely enough, this isn't happening for me anymore. I don't know why this was happening a couple of days ago. I'll keep a look out if something happens again.

FWIW, I once had something like this happen, but discovered I was opening "www.bugzilla.mozilla.org".

Yeah that has caught me too. And once you enter that into FF, it remembers it in the awesomebar so you can't just type a few letters and tab/enter.

if you get something like that in the awesomebar that shouldn't be, you can arrow down to it in the awesomemar, and hit Shift+Delete to remove it from the available results for next time.
