Between 4/20 and 4/23 leaks reported by the daily leaks testing jumped dramatically (from ~10000 to ~30000) and have stayed there. See ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/data/leaks/leaks_results_daily.html. The leaks files (which are HUGE) are under ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/data/leaks/010423/ or later. Looking at the Leaks files, David Baron says: the biggest leaks seem to be (roughly in order): 1. bug 71142 (which used to be small but now seems to be called a lot more) 2. bug 77961 (there may be multiple GIF leaks and this bug describes only one) 3. bug 77962
So the leaks dropped pretty dramatically today (see link above) but I don't see any bug fixes to account for it. Any explanation?
Nope. I don't even know why this assigned to me since you guys aren't testing with the Gtk embedding widget.
gtkEmbed is, in fact, what I'm testing against. I do make a special build to enable hooks for this test, but it sure 'nuff is gtkEmbed.
Is this still a problem? I think that pav fixed this.
I don't specifically know what fixes were put in but the leaks numbers did, in fact, drop back down to the original range.
Works For Me(tm).
