User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0
Build ID: 20120808131812
Steps to reproduce:
This is a heads up.
In bugreports I've noticed some unexplained FF slowness due to flash and crashes of flash. Maybe FF can't clear FlashPlayerPlugin memory fast enough to avoid slugishness and crashes; especially when closing tabs.
I'm noticing recently that FlashPlayerPlugin_xxxxx_.exe is not releasing 464MB of memory. And it stays constant over long time, but it has I/O-reads of 60K/min and writes of 60K/min continuously; while not watching any videos.
Today, as above, but, I have 365 MB for FlashPlayerPlugin_xxxxx_.exe
Flash does not crash for me; mostly.
I don't recall seeing this before.
FF 15b4, vista 32, 4GB ram, MS superfetch off, A/V off, ramdisk cache.

mike, what version of Flash were you using when you reproduced this bug?
Can you please try and see if you can also reproduce it on other browsers, with the same Flash version?
