Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Firefox with a fresh profile. 2. Install NoScript from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/722/addon-722-latest.xpi 3. Open about:config and change extensions.webservice.discoverURL to http://localhost 4. Open Add-ons Manager Expected: Add-ons manager shows content from http://localhost Actual: Add-ons manager shows a large block of text at the top and warnings in the error console. See attached screenshot.
From what I can see NoScript is just refusing to let us load from localhost. All the warnings at the top and in the error console are generated by NoScript. I'm not sure what whether there is anything we could (or should) do here.
Yep, totally NoScript's fault, and by design. To get around it, I believe you can just disable ABE (NoScript settings -> Advanced -> ABE -> uncheck Enable ABE).
