I've hit this bug a few times intermittently over the last few months and this time I was lucky enough to have Error Console open when it happened. I'm attaching a screenshot which displays the error and the UX. Basically when loading Twitter for the first time it fails to load a JS file containing stylesheet information. Reloading the page does not resolve the issue, but SHIFT+Reload does. I've hit this on several other sites in the past so I don't think it's specific to Twitter. This bug is so intermittent (I probably hit it once every couple of months), so I'm not expecting it to get "fixed" anytime soon but I thought I'd file it anyway. There's probably a dupe of this bug somewhere too. Hopefully this is somewhat useful.

Over to networking. Note that the error is about a _JS_ file not being loaded, not a CSS file... Patrick, does twitter use SPDY nowadays?

Yes, but I assumed they are loading their stylesheets from within that JS file. I wasn't able to check so I guess I could be wrong about that. > Patrick, does twitter use SPDY nowadays? AFAIK, yes, it does.
