I rebooted (cleanly) my MBP, and upon startup I noted that the Trash was full. Checked and found a "Recovered files" folder, with 10 copies of updater.app. I'd guess that the timestamps correspond to either when I applied Nightly updates or when the update was preprocessed. Not sure.

Could be a result of some quirk on my system, but 10 compies at regular intervals make me think this might be an updater issue. Not really sure how this would happen, though... If it was just 1 I'd suspect an FD leak, but having each hang around would seem to imply something else.

I also sometimes have an updater-filled trash after reboot. E. g. right after auto-updating from 17b3 to 17b4. Though, this issue exists since months or even the beginning of Firefox. It's rather an annoyence than a problem, but I suppose it could confuse people with little technical knowledge.
I have not seen this in a while. Anybody else?
