Florian and Sheppy discovered something interesting in bug 781922. Mindtouch allowed authors to use relative URLs in their links, and converted them to absolute URLs under the hood.

For example, <a href="en/PR_EXTERN">PR_EXTERN</a> became a link to https://developer.mozilla.org/en/PR_EXTERN.

We do not allow this, so all uses of relative URLs in MDN documentation now wreak havoc. We should programatically identify all relative URLs in MDN documentation and update them to absolute, Kuma-style URLs.

For example, we should convert this...

<a href="en/PR_EXTERN">PR_EXTERN</a>

to this...

<a href="/en-US/docs/PR_EXTERN">PR_EXTERN</a>

I think we won't fix in the future. The 404 list shows that not many such links exists on the wild, if any.
