Details

Launching an app (cold start) causes a black screen to flash before the app loads. This might not be noticeable for apps that use a black background but it is noticeable for apps like QR code generator or River Raider, that start with a white background.

STR:
1. Select an app to launch. 
2. If the app had been previously launched, exit out of the app (menu->exit).
3. Cold start an app by clicking on the icon on the home screen. 

Actual Result:
Black screen flashes initially when launching app

Expected Result:
No black screen flash. The app should appear to launch smoothly.
