Build ID: 20120713134347

Steps to reproduce:

I was trying to download an image using "save as...".

Actual results:

A new message window opened "filename.jpg could not be saved, because the source file could not be read".

Expected results:

This message should NOT be in a separate window. It should appear in the same window where you are trying to download in firefox itself.

Here are some of the reasons:

1. When you have many tabs open, you do not know to which tab this message refers because it is an external window.

2. When you have many windows/applications open (typical case) you often do not notice or do not see or not find this window which is hiding somewhere among the other windows.

3. Until this message windows is closed, any operation in the download manager is not possible (download manager is disabled) even that this message is not really an error but just a warning.

4. Sometimes this message occurs due to a very temporary network lag, which means that firefox can try again to download it after a short while without the need to show this message at all.

5. Often, the required action to download the file/page is a simple "page refresh". This message does not lead to this common option. It should be integrated in the page itself and offer this option (per tab).
