Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1 Build ID: 20120713134347 Steps to reproduce: Clicked on home-screen shortcuts saved by a previous version of Firefox while Firefox 15.0 was running on an HP TouchPad running Android 4.0.4 (CyanogenMod 9). Actual results: Firefox opens about:home in a new tab. If Firefox isn't running, it works fine for the first shortcut. Subsequent clicks on shortcuts saved by this version of Firefox work fine, as do links from other apps when Firefox is running. Problem does not occur on HTC One X, also running Android 4.0.4 (updated around the same time). Expected results: It should open the URL pointed to by the shortcut.
OS: Windows 7 → Android
Hardware: x86_64 → ARM
Were they created in Firefox 14, or a version even older?
Probably a combination. I know of one that was created on 8/21, which would certainly have been version 14 (and I just verified that it fails), but others were added at a variety of times.
Because Firefox for tablets switched to the native version in version 15, it's likely a duplicate of bug 741860.
Remove and re-add the bookmarks for Firefox 15+
