Details
IE10 will be supporting device orientation and motion. [1]
We should also add support. The metro style enabled desktop browser documentation points to this link:
Responding to motion and orientation sensors (Metro style apps using C#/VB/C++ and XAML)[2]
I think this is accomplished by implementing nsIAcceleration / nsIDeviceMotionData
