We can't just delete that string for all locales?

We can delete the whole string, but not that single sentence from it, since it was translated as a single large string. Deleting the whole string would mean removing the entire answer (and, subsequently, the question, of course).

Verified that 'When you get activity on your banner, you'll get an update on your timeline.' was removed from the FAQ.
