Created attachment 657547 [details] sample.html User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1 Build ID: 20120713134347 Steps to reproduce: applying css transitions and/or animations to divs (actually page transitions, switching from one page to another with different effects like slide horz, slide vert, swap, etc) Actual results: transitions and animations do not work smoothly. short transitions like 500ms for a page transitions are even not (full) visible. it seems that the start appears short before the timout. so the end position is already reached when starting... with longer times like 10000ms, the full transition is visible, but it stutters. Expected results: transitions and animations should be smooth.
the attached sample.html shows the effect. there are 2 pages. clicking on the page switches to the other with a herizontal slide. but this is far from beeing smooth.
The testcase killed my browser when I was trying it. :|
Justin, did you test the testcase again? on my side with FF44, it's normally smooth, no delay, no hang.
I did test and reproduced BUT after your comment I tested with a fresh profile and I can not reproduce on FX44 either! (Fresh profiles always get me) Hey Reporter, can you retest this with a fresh profile? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings
I will close this issue due to lack of response by the reporter.
