str: 1. open a random tab: bugzilla.com 2. open a new tab 3. note that url bar has focus and is responsive to keyboard 4. switch to bugzilla 5. switch back to new tab 6. note that url bar still has focus and is responsive to keyboard 7. switch to bugzilla 8. click on content area 9. switch back to new tab 10. note that although text in url bar is selected you cannot use keyboard
on further checking this is not only an issue with new tabs, but with any url-focused tab
