788023 - New version of FoxLingo (2.7.5) produces the "connecting..." message in tabs the way renamizer used to.

There is already a bug (750119) against FoxLingo 2.7.3 where it is secretly sending URL and other identifying data to thetrafficstat.net.

A new version (2.7.5) was recently made available and I wanted to try it to see if the covert tracking was still in it.  I never got that far.  When you install FoxLingo 2.7.5, you get the same behavior that used to be reported against renamizer a year or two ago.  Whenever you open a new tab, or open a new page in an existing tab, the page name is displayed in the tab only while the page is downloading and being assembled.  As soon as the download is finished, the tab label switches to "Connecting..."  and remains there.

I have verified this on FF 17 on a 32-bit Vista box and on a 64-bit Windows 7 box.  I have not tried it on any other version of FF.

Same bug. Disabling Foxlingo stop that "connecting message". This message might be thee because obn some network or with some anti-virus/anti-malware, thetrafficstat.net is sent to localhost or to void...

Forefox is only guilty in letting tha extension published as extension...

However Firefox should detect that kind of pending connection and not show "connecting..."
