I recorded http://people.mozilla.com/~bgirard/cleopatra/?report=0f72d90c38a24d9fe443d0e6cdaff2daa661081e trace(did not upload it yet).
I then selected a subset of it, browsed around, checked [x] JS Only, then uploaded selection. I went to view the trace and all I got was a useless http://people.mozilla.com/~bgirard/cleopatra/?report=8be3ef933499bbc17160b343aacb8073f0eefcb5

I can still reproduce this issue. We need to save everything in the current view even samples that are filtering out and just restore the view settings.
Alternatively perhaps the 'Upload View' feature should just be removed because it's too hard to maintain with all the selection features we now support.

We've removed 'Upload View', at least for now.
