I've set up the stage server but before I can hook in the new theme properly I need to have this sub-domain set up to serve the theme assets from.
Point it at the box and I should be able to do the rest with apache - am guessing it will come with https by default as it's a sub of mozillalabs.com ?

stage-festival.mozillalabs.com points to the contents at festival1.vm.labs.scl3.mozilla.com (which currently look like a Wordpress blog "[Staging] Mozilla Festival 2012").
It does do the usual http -> https rewrite. If it should be removed, just re-open this bug and let me know.
