Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1
Build ID: 20120804175122
Steps to reproduce:
Simply choosing the bookmarks tab crashes my firefox on HTC desire HD. This was also present in v14 btw.
I tried clearing all data and let it re-sync the bookmarks, but I get the same crash after it syncs. Before sync, I see the bookmarks ok. History is also just fine.

Firefox 14.0.1 for Android is no longer maintained. Please update to Firefox 15.
If it still happens, provide the crash ID (bp...) from about:crashes.
Hello there,
First of all, I think there is a misunderstanding here. I correctly specified version as 15 in the bug report if you take a closer look :-) I am submitting this report with my desktop computer. I believe your bugzilla took the user-agent info from my desktop computer's browser and added it there. So the bug report is for v15 on Android as mentioned in the report itself.
Here is the crash ID I just sent out:
d4c0a0d4-f3ce-45bf-b0ec-01f622120910
Thank you.

Thanks for the bug report and the crash ID. The signature bp-d4c0a0d4-f3ce-45bf-b0ec-01f622120910 [@ java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: length=125; index=-1 at android.text.StaticLayout.calculateEllipsis(StaticLayout.java)] matches an already filed report in bug 760398.

Firefox Sync requires that all clients use the same version so you should update your desktop Firefox.

I updated to FF 16.0.1 on my Android hoping that this is fixed, but I get the same crash as before.

You should monitor and comment in bug 760398 to know what's going on about your issue, this one is no longer used.
