Steps to reproduce:

1. Open https://donate.mozilla.org/page/contribute/calendar
2. Enter my details. My last name, a very common German name, contains an ü.
3. Submit the form ("Spende ausführen")


Actual results:

The site informed my payment could not be authorozed and offered me to go back to correct my details.

I clicked the button, and saw that the ü had been messed up due to character encoding issues.

I replaced the ü by ue and did not get the error message.


Expected results:

The ü character should not have been messed up, and the payment should have been authorized properly.

And after correcting, I got:

"WARNUNG: Wir haben innerhalb der letzten paar
Minuten eine Spende von Ihnen erhalten. Wenn
Sie eine weitere Spende übermitteln wollen,
klicken Sie bitte erneut auf die
Schaltfläche "Spende ausführen"."

Umm - well, yes - you got a donation which you did not process properly, according to your own message. So what is this warning supposed to say? That you DID process it, after all?
