Steps to reproduce:

First, open the addon tab by click on Tools->Add-ons...

Then right click on the empty part of the tab bar, click on "Customize..."


Actual results:

The navigation bar and bookmarks bar do now show for customizing. 


Expected results:

The navigation bar and bookmarks bar should show up temporarily.
works for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0
Is this OS X only ?
I don't know about windows, but this bug is also reproduceable on Ubuntu 12.4.
