RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 769994

People

(Reporter: johnx, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1
Build ID: 20120905151427

Steps to reproduce:

When running multiple tunnels or HTTP servers on one host. Lets say:
- https://localhost [:443]

Actual results:

Firefox goes to https link, even full http link is entered(pressed enter or 'go' button)

Expected results:

Firefox should have gone to specified page and not try to be smarter then the user when full link is given.
Have you ever had the Force-TLS extension installed? I noticed the settings built into Firefox changed by the extension persist even after it's removed. If it's currently installed, the settings per site are in right-click -> View Page Info, "Permissions" section with checkboxes for "Secure Connection".
Force-TLS extension has never been installed.
Apart from adding security exception(self signed cert) there were no modifications made to that site preferences.

Note: HTTPS link is taken from history so it must be used before http link
