I'm not sure what the process is for making add-ons featured, but the set of featured add-ons for Android could use an update. Currently I only see 5 featured add-ons, but there are definitely more awesome add-ons than that. For example, two of the add-ons on this list aren't featured:
https://blog.mozilla.org/theden/2012/09/10/4firefoxandroidaddons/

More and more Android add-ons are showing up, and I just want to make sure users can easily get to the most awesome ones :)
I know Dan Horner was previously the one maintaining the featured lists. If there are specific ones you want featured, let us know.
Hi Margaret

Please let me know which add-ons you would like to be featured, and I will update the list.

Regards
I'll need to take a deeper look to see which ones I think are the best. Cc'ing Erin and Sam in case they have any ideas about what add-ons we'd like to feature.
In bug 790954, Tyler mentioned that people were asking for a "Always Desktop Mode" on the Google Play Store. Brian has an add-on to do that:

Could be a good candidate
I think we may want to get rid of Full Screen from the featured add-ons because the UI is confusing (you can get trapped in full screen mode). PDF.js definitely seems like a cool one to feature, and maybe LastPass, since that has a lot of desktop users.

Hey Margaret - can you give me a definitive list? I'll update accordingly.

We'll work with Karen on the list
Component: Public Pages → Administration
It looks like this fell through the cracks. Mark, can get get a list, even if it's just a couple of add-ons per category?

I think we'll need more of a team effort. I have not been looking at add-ons for a while, so I am out of touch with what is available for Fennec.

And by that I mean, I'll talk to the Android team about getting some recommendable add-ons.

Leaving NI for me to remember.

Robin and Margaret are working on this general issue. Removing my NI.

This is an ongoing thing, and according to comment 11 this is being handled by the Android team.
