Description Ondrej Sluciak 2012-09-17 02:02:33 PDT
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1
Build ID: 20120905151427

Steps to reproduce:

This web page has a very slow response, it loads slowly and scrolling is also slow:

http://251449996.blogspot.co.at/2012/07/robert-falcon-scott.html

Probably not problem of firefox, but maybe some optimization on firefox side could be possible.

Expected results:

Faster responses.

Confirmed the Loading Issue against Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0 ID:20120917030530.

Profile for the Loading Case:
http://people.mozilla.com/~bgirard/cleopatra/?report=45e8f8b3de20e5b1d02ff98bff1b403276039b07

by which most Time (per Jank) is spent in Layout, no?

Note that the other linked Effects (Flipcard, Magazine, Mosaic, etc.) have their own Issues too, e.g. try to scroll downwards using http://251449996.blogspot.co.at/?view=magazine where the "Twitter like append Text when you scroll" Effect seems to be used.

FWIW, Chrome Canary has similar Issues on this Site too.
