ideally you should hear carious sounds, but nothing is heard.

Shrir, have you examined the contents of this page. Looks like they are using 
script ot play the music. Does the Javascript console spit anything out? Do yo 
uhave the right Beatnik player to do scripting?
PEter, the javascript console is blank and my plugin version is the latest (2.2)

That url should work fine with Player 2.1+.  I last pulled on 5/3 and the page 
works ok for me with that build.  Will pull today or tomorrow and take a look.
I did a pull right before the trunk opened today and don't have any problems.  
Does Beatnik show up in about:plugins?  Did you manually install?  If so, might 
need to delete components\xpti*.dat.
yeah i just copied the file..let me go over this again..
You also need the .xpt file.  It will only get installed if you install to N6.  
You can get the installer to install into Mozilla - check the readme text in 
the installer.
Both npBeatnk.dll and npBeatnk.xpt should go into the components directory.
sorry, false alarm !! Works awesome with  2.2 beatnik.
