Now that the style guide is live, we don't need the Sandstone (http://www.mozilla.org/b/en-US/sandstone/) or Brand Toolkit (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/) anymore. We should instead redirect those URLs to the style guide.

The Sandstone page should point to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/websites/sandstone/.

The brand toolkit is a little more complex, but here's my recommendation:
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/platform/ points to [hey, this page hasn't been built yet, but the content is shown at http://mozilla.seanmartell.com/nothingtoseehere/index.php?directory=.&currentPic=5]
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/identity/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/identity/firefox/branding/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/identity/channel-logos/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/identity/firefox/channels/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/identity/wordmarks/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/identity/firefox/wordmarks/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/identity/typefaces/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/communications/typefaces/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/artwork/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/artwork/gear/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/website/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/websites/sandstone/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/website/domain-strategy/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/websites/domains/overview/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/copy/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/communications/copy-tone/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/copy/l10n/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/communications/translation/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/copy/rules/ points to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/communications/copy-rules/
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/downloads/ points to www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/
That looks right to me, John, I'm just wondering if the last link, /downloads, should point to the assets repository instead. I can see it both ways. What do you think?

I had a similar thought, but went with the style guide b/c it feels more accessible to browse through and find what you need. Neither one has a single page with all the logos on it, so in the case of a tie I went with what seemed like the more user friendly option.

Mike, Steven - what are we thinking in terms of timing here? It's confusing having alternate style guides floating around.
Since the old sandstone page was never really intended for wide consumption, and only ever published behind the /b/ url prefix, I would propose we just drop that one without a redirect. I'll work on the rest today.
Sounds like a good plan - thanks Steven.
Depends on: 800461
These redirects are in master and will go into effect pending a push to production and the resolution of Bug 800461.

I have removed the associated PHP pages (and images/styles) from SVN in r109871 (trunk).
Thanks!
When do we think this push will hit production? Just curious.
Guys, when is this going to happen? This shouldn't take a month to get live.
This is stuck on Bug 800461. Anthony, can you follow up on that?
Steven, Rik, now that /b/ redirect for firefox/brand has been pushed to prod, anything we need to do here?

I see the redirects are turned on and working. Raymond verified in bug#800461 so closing this out.

It turns out the removal of these files from SVN (r109871 in trunk) was never merged to stage/production. Not harmful, but it is one more inconsistency between trunk and stage/production that can cause headaches when merging.

Pmac, can you merge this? I don't have the permissions to do it myself. If I try locally, I do get conflicts, but it's just the removal of files/dirs, so they conflicts should be pretty easy to "resolve". Thanks.
