Steps to reproduce:

Bug 790979 - [Join Mozilla]: Mozilla Festival Contest QA

On form: https://donate.mozilla.org/page/contribute/webmaker-sweepstakes

A collection of minor things that may be considered for improvement

Actual results:

1) The pop-up for validation errors is a little...clunky for the following reasons:
- the typesetting does not match the form
- it is hard to read and find the problem areas

2) Perhaps more helpful than a pop-up would be a change to red text or something that highlights the problem areas of the form

3) Once certain things are filled in, then the form does submit even if there are errors. Upon getting errors, the same pop-up appears and you are returned to your information, but the checked status of the Privacy Policy is lost.

Steps to reproduce #3:
i) fill out all required form data EXCEPT gift amount.
ii) click donate now
iii) wait for pop-up saying donation amount is required
iv) click ok, Privacy Policy check box isn't marked

4) As with (3) but select PayPal as payment method. Upon being returned to form, the Credit Card Number box has re-appeared even though PayPal is still selected

5) It would be nice if I didn't have to press submit and wait for a server response to discover that a donation needs to be over $5
Thanks. Not sure how many of this will be fixable, but we'll definitely try for at least 3, 4 & 5.
6) The Donate Now button moves when the PayPal option is checked - switches across to where the Credit Card details are.
7) Typo. After donating, the message reads:

8) Typo?:

Donate before October 5th† and you'll be automatically entered into our first drawing to win a trip to London for the Mozilla Festival in November.

into our first drawing -> into our first draw

9) Typo:

The first drawing will held on October 5th and the second on -> The first draw will be held on

This might be a US English thing (?), but "drawing" is the correct term; it's certainly the one the lawyers gave us.
curse my british ways :D

Keep 9) The first drawing will held on -> The first drawing will be held on

Ah. Right you are!
Hello all -- Comments on each bug below:

#1/2 - Changes would only be applicable to the English (custom) form and as it's an intermediary page, it would mean updating the wrapper. It would require a fair amount of time, so we suggest leaving as is, seeing as it's a minor issue
#3 - fixed
#4 - fixed
#5 - fixed
#6 - fized
#7 - fixed
#8-9 - no longer a problem :)

Thanks!
Katie
Thanks, Katie.

#9 is still true -- there are actually two changes that need to be made to that sentence:

1) The first drawing will held on October 5th --> add "be" between "will" & "held"
2) The second on October 20th. --> should be 22nd.

Bird, everything else look ok to you, other than 1/2?
Hi, yes looks great. I haven't donated again to check 7 so I'll take your word on that one :)
#9 is fixed!
