When I browse on my home laptop (which admittedly has slow disk access) on OS X 10.6 and a recent Aurora channel build, I occasionally run into really long hangs where Firefox doesn't respond at all. Today I was staring at the beachball for over 20 seconds before I decided to go do something else instead. When I got back I installed the about:telemetry and grabbed a copy of the page which indicated an average of 33s in "COMMIT TRANSACTION /* webappsstore.sqlite */" which seems excessive. I'm attaching the telemetry page as a tarball; I'll put up a copy on a public site as well for easier access.

webappsstore.sqlite is DOM storage - this seems like a dupe of bug 627635 and all its dependencies.
