Although I see three files installed in the spellckecker subdirectory, it is not
working. Is it supposed to be? If so, what am I doing wrong?

I've got Mozilla configured to check spelling before sending (essential for my
fingers). It doesn't work when sending. It also does not work if I click on
the button on the interface, or if I try to access it with th ekeystroke
combination.

On 0.8.1 I tried installing the spellchkr.xpi file as advised by someone working
with the project. It installed, but crashed Mozilla every time it was accessed.

Any advice?

Thank you very much for your time and kind assistance.

spellchecker is not in non-commercial builds.... This is probably invalid.
Do you see Spellcheck in any of the menus? (Edit menu I think)
If you type in the mail compose body area, does that item become enabled? Does
that work?
