For a "regular" B2G build built using the B2G build system, we're not enabling profiling:

https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gonk-misc/blob/master/default-gecko-config#L11
# Disabled for now since this disables enough stripping that our
# system.img on the sgs2 exceeds 100MB and heimdall fails to work right.
#ac_add_options --enable-profiling

But, the mozconfig used to generate the b2g gecko build in TBPL does enable profiling. This results in a noticeably slower build. We intend to use this build for B2G emulator testing on TBPL, and it will likely result in additional timeouts and related problems.

Is there any reason not to turn it off?
