Hello gentle IT folk. Please add a CNAME record pointing stuff.webmaker.org (a subdomain of a domain we manage) to point to ds1y8qz5gc0nc.cloudfront.net We (speaking for MoFo here) will be using S3+cloudfront to host some static assets. We'll be working with security/privacy/policy folks to make sure the stuff that goes there is stuff that should go there.

It seems the CNAME was missing the trailing "." it should be on the cloudfront 2nd level domain. ;; ANSWER SECTION: stuff.webmaker.org. 300 IN CNAME ds1y8qz5gc0nc.cloudfront.net.webmaker.org.

Yup that was the problem. Next dns update will fix the CNAME
