Firefox (button) | Bookmarks | Show All Bookmarks

Library dialog window opens.

Attempt to search and delete thousands of duplicate bookmark entries in subdir of Bookmarks Menu (Library dialog window)

Library window stops responding and:

Script: resource:///components/nsTaggingService.js:277 (Windows 64-bit FF15.0.1)
Script: resource:///components/nsTaggingService.js:312 (Mac OS X 10.8.6 FF15.0.1)

Is reported as unresponsive

Library window should respond in real-time, return search entries and respond to user cues (clicks, key strikes etc)

I was not able to reproduce the issue with 1000 bookmarks. Library responds well and fast.

Does this still reproduce for you on a latest Nightly build?

This issue appears to be resolved in FF24.0 (OS X 10.8.5)

I am not able to reproduce the issue using latest Aurora 26.0a2 (buildID: 20131008004008) and latest Nightly 27.0a1 (buildID: 20131008030202) on Ubuntu 12.04 x32, Windows 7 x64 and Mac OS X 10.8.5.
Based on this I am marking this bug as Worksforme. Please reopen the bug or file a new one if the issue reappears.
