Avoid sending mail twice to people who are both members of Mozillians.org and all@moz

When a mail goes out to all Mozillians, its sent separately to all members of Mozillians.org, and to all@moz (to ensure all employees get it). This currently means employees get the mail twice, which is kinda annoying.
In discussing this, justdave suggested the following solution:
probably need a checkbox on the mail sending form on mozillians.org that says "I sent this to everyone@mozilla.org already" that drops mozilla.com/mozillafoundation.org/mozilla.org addresses from the mailing.

I'd suggest a setting that drops Mozillians identified as paid staff. I'm not using my professional email address on Mozillians so if it was just based on the email, I'd still receive two emails.

I second comment #1, I've been a long-term Mozilla community member and would be so even if I wasn't paid for it, so I used my normal non-mozilla.com address for mozillians (right now I'm not even in the staff group but that hopefully can/will be changed some time), and I'm sure a number of others did the same.
IMHO, this is a good idea, but please do this based on the staff group and not the email address.

Hey Blair,
Thanks for the bug filing. This is a pain as I'm getting 2-3 e-mails as well. I'll look into it and figure out an appropriate solution.

Another option is to stop sending those emails to paid staff. Interested paid staff would have to subscribe to Mozillians.

Paid staff should get them whether they're interested or not. :P
I actually think it's useful to know what emails go out to all Mozillians, so I wouldn't be in favor of silently dropping paid staff from those emails. It would be nice if we could send them out in one mailing to Mozillians members and paid staff who aren't members without sending directly to all@

Is this bug still affecting anyone? :williamr used to be affected by this and is not anymore, and believes it has been fixed. Please shout if you're still getting double-mailed.

How was it fixed? I apparently ended up on a "mozillian" mailing list because I donated to Mozilla in the past (or something, I'm not sure). The "unsubscribe" link in the mozillians emails I'm getting to my non-mozillians email address links to a page at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/existing/ that shows me:

I suspect there's some amount of confusion between various ways people are getting mail:
a) people getting stuff through all@mozilla.com/everyone@mozilla.org
b) people getting stuff through emails associated with their mozillians.org persona
c) people getting stuff through a newsletter sign up
Maybe the duplication between a) & b) was fixed, but given the possibility of having used different email addresses for each of those signups, I don't think there's any easy way to fix the duplication between a)/b) & c), short of those people just unsubscribing manually.

After program meeting this is considered out of scope. There is no way to expose all@moz membership so not an easy way.
