(Came across this on my local MDN instance because I don't have the permissions on prod [bug 791821]) As far as I see it, you can only revert to a particular revision on the history page where you have a "Revert" link in the list of revisions. However, if I'm on the history page I might not know yet the revision I want to revert to, so I open a particular revision or choose revisions to compare. Then in the view for a single revision or in the difference view there is no button like "Revert to this revision". That means I need to come back to the history page, look for the revision I want to revert to and do the actual revert there. So, for a better workflow I propose to add a revert button to a) the compare view b) the single revision view, if the revision is not the current one.
