Just to see how it works.

I moved my test VM to winbuild.releng.scl3 for this (which doesn't have DHCP).

It turns out puppet's $::fqdn calculation is based on the netbios (15-character) name, so I renamed it to dustin-test.ad.mozilla.com.

I hit getcert.cgi in firefox and manually copied the certificates to the appropriate places on the machine (ssldir is c:\programdata\puppetlabs\puppet\etc\ssl).
Assignee: server-ops-releng → dustin
This worked great.  Now on to implementing it.
