Caret in conversion mode is located on the left of characters you are converting. The caret should be on the right of the characters. Steps of reproduce 1. Open Composer 2. Turn on IME and change to Hiragana mode 3. Type "kanji" in Hiragana 4. Hit the space bar Actual result The caret is on the left of 2 double byte characters. Expected result The caret should be on the end of the 2 double byte characters. Tested 2001-05-07-04, 2001-05-08-06 Win32 build on Win2kJ, Winnt 4.0J, and Win98J. This is not regression from 6.0. This does not happen on Mac and Linux build.

Reproduce on WinME-Ja on 05-08 trunk build. Similar bug 68641.
I forgot to mention that this happens not only composer but also Text area in browser and url bar.
