No media initialization whatsoever.

What OS version is the i9000 running? I assume it's gingerbread since that what they were released with here in NZ. if so, this result is expected as we only support ICS and JB. See bug 787228 got GB support.
Indeed it is, Gingerbread (Android 2.3).

Curious to know how did the video play in FF16 ?
Leaving it nominated , till comment 4 is addressed.
It could not have played in FF16. Can you test it on that again?
This bug was filed against mozilla-18.
Not tracking this as H.264 never played in FF16 .
Apologies if I misread this: are we saying that this will not be resolved or is this being tracked somewhere else?
Tracking is in bug 787228 for Gingerbread support.
